We are seeking an experienced claims professional and inspiring team leader to join our Strata Claims team at Marsh. This role is available in our Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role which offers the opportunity to work three days in the office and two days at home.

You’ll lead a high-performing team and manage a selected portfolio of Strata insurance claims, delivering excellent leadership and claims outcomes while working closely with clients to achieve timely, cost-effective settlements.

We will count on you to:

• Respond efficiently and professionally to client enquiries, building trust and confidence.
• Provide end-to-end claims management, from first notice through to resolution and settlement.
• Prepare and submit clear, timely claims reports and status updates.
• Collaborate effectively with your team and internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes.
• Lead, coach and motivate your immediate team to deliver high-quality, productive results.

What you need to have:

• Proven people management and leadership skills.
• Extensive experience in insurance claims management, Strata claims experience is desirable.
• Solid experience interpreting relevant legislation and applying it to liability decisions.
• Proven ability to manage complex claims and reach commercially sensible resolutions.
• Strong, personable communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
