Marsh & Mc Lennan Shared Services LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the Minneapolis, MN office (A hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.):

We will count on you to:

• Own the entire DevOps lifecycle across the engineering team which includes designing, building, and optimizing automation systems and managing the DevOps roadmap to help grow and maintain our rapidly evolving cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain systems to support new and existing services for customers. Research and implement innovative technologies that enhance the productivity, reliability, and security of our environment. Ensure all solutions align with organizational security standards. Manage Kubernetes environments by deploying, scaling and maintaining applications using Helm and Docker to ensure high availability and performance. Manage AWS cloud services by provisioning, configuring, and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform to ensure reliable, scalable, and automated cloud environments. For each of the position duties, the Lead
• DevOps Engineer will be responsible to: Assign tasks, review output to ensure it meets standards, help with prioritization, and mentor team members with constant technical guidance. Design CICD strategies and make architectural decisions to ensure they meet the broader standards set by the leadership team. Provide continuous feedback and mentorship, monitor output, manage time off, and conduct performance reviews for supervised team members.

What you need to have:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field plus eight (8) years of experience leading DevOps projects in the position offered or a related position. Must have eight (8) years of experience with all of the following: Designing and optimizing automation systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency; Setting up and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing Git Actions, Java, NodeJS, Python, and Shell Script to facilitate seamless integration and delivery; Managing the entire Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), including planning, building, testing, deploying, and monitoring applications within a DevOps automation release process. Must include five (5) years of experience with all of the following: Supporting, maintaining, and deploying builds for applications developed in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Python, .Net, React, Node, and Ruby; Researching and implementing innovative technologies to enhance productivity, reliability, and security within a production environment; Managing Kubernetes environments, including deploying and scaling applications using Helm and Docker; Integrating Dev Sec Ops practices into the DevOps workflow to address security vulnerabilities and risks through deployment pipelines; Utilizing API management tools including Apigee and AWS API Gateway; Monitoring, logging, and collecting metrics and identifying and resolving performance issues using Datadog.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $214,053 to $218,500 per year.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
