We are seeking a talented individual to join our BRIC Builders team at Marsh. This role will be based in Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role you will be responsible for contributing to business growth objectives of Bovill Risk & Insurance Consultants Pty Ltd Group by development of new business and retention of existing business, specifically in nominated accounts within the BRIC team.

As an Account Executive you will work closely with senior brokers and underwriters to support delivery of insurance solutions for construction clients (builders, contractors, developers).

We will count on you to:

  • Support senior brokers in preparing client proposals, insurance programs and tender submissions for construction projects.
  • Assist with policy placement, renewals and endorsements across contract works, liability, plant & equipment, and professional indemnity where applicable.
  • Prepare and maintain client documentation, coverage summaries and risk presentations.
  • Liaise with clients, underwriters and internal teams to gather information and resolve queries.
  • Assist with claims notifications and support claims management activities.
  • Conduct market research, identify suitable insurers and maintain insurer relationships.
  • Help develop and maintain accurate data in CRM (MPower) and other systems.
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits as required.
  • Support the BRIC team with the domestic building insurance portfolio

What you need to have:

  • Ideally someone with work experience in insurance, construction, risk, or a related professional services role — internships or work placements are valuable.
  • Strong attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to learn technical insurance language quickly.
  • Proactive, client-focused and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and willing to learn Marsh systems (CRM, quoting tools).
