Job Description:

Senior Technician is primarily responsible for carrying out routine scheduled maintenance activities in line with the Mars food safety & quality standards for maintaining Asset health and equipment uptime. The job also involves coordinating with the internal & external stake holders for carrying out the job smoothly.

The scope of this position involves handling the mechanical maintenance activities on a shift. It involves coordination with various internal stakeholders, such as Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, etc. to perform the activities. Compliance of the job with the safety/quality standards is one of the key requirements. It also involves the ability to maintain a balance between meeting day-to-day issues and completing daily planned activities. The scope involves further interpersonal and communication skills, good planning & organization, and problem-solving capability.

What are we looking for?

• ITI in Fitter from a reputed university with atleast 5 years (ITI) working in industrial/manufacturing environment, preferably in maintenance and/or engineering role able to work in all areas of the factory.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Attending Breakdowns and analysis with relevant TPM tools

• Knowledge of high-speed wrapping machines (Flow wrap & fold wrap)

• Carrying out Preventive and Predictive checks for improving Asset health

• Cross-functional interaction with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth work handover

• Align with Mars food/work safety standards & quality standards

• Maintaining the documentation for the shift activities

• Spares Identification and coordinate with the store for the right spare availability

• Subject expertise in the Mechanical works

• Understanding Operational issues and training on the same

• Co-ordinate with contractors & vendors for Jobs required in Asset health checks

• Collaboration with Safety, Food Safety, and Other Stakeholders

• Ensure the adherence of the job to Sustainability, HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSAI requirements.
