Facilities Manager
The Facilities Manager oversees all aspects of facility management at the site, ensuring effective service, maintenance, and cost control for building infrastructure, MHE (Material Handling Equipment), machinery, and racking systems. The role includes vendor management, site sustainability efforts, and adherence to corporate guidelines.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee comprehensive facility management, including service, maintenance, and cost control for MHE, machinery, and racking systems.

Manage facility maintenance budgets and provide regular reporting.

Optimize costs while maintaining high-quality facility management aligned with budgetary constraints.

Collaborate with the Area/Regional Procurement team to ensure compliance with corporate procurement guidelines.

Act as the primary contact for facility-related suppliers and landlord(s).

Conduct MHE testing during onboarding and deliver in-house MHE training.
-
Perform daily warehouse gemba walks to ensure proper use of MHE, materials, and PBM tools.

Provide advice on workplace arrangements, materials, and safety instructions in collaboration with line managers to mitigate identified risks.

Participate in emergency procedures and provide first aid as required.

Auto sorter Corrective and curative maintenance.

Leading a team of 3 technicians, whose responsibility is to ensure the continuity of operations.
Qualifications
-
Proven experience as a Facility Manager, preferably in contract logistics.

Familiarity with TAPA FSR, ISO certifications, or other international standards is an advantage.

Strong technical expertise and practical skills.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficient in program management, including budgeting and strategic planning.

Capable of managing emergency situations related to facility incidents.

Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

Operates independently with minimal guidance, consulting senior stakeholders for complex issues.

Builds strong relationships with site teams and stakeholders.
-
Good command of German and English language
