Are you an experienced Operations Manager within Warehousing and Logistics?

Have you implemented new site launches and/or onboarded new Customers?

Can you demonstrate experience managing operational activities in a fast-paced environment?

As Operations Implementation Manager you will be a key member of the site management team with responsibility for all operational activities within the warehouse, having key influence and responsibility on the site financial, and health and safety performance whilst ensuring strong customer satisfaction and communication.

In addition to the main duties and responsibilities listed below the Operations Implementation Manager will be expected to perform other duties appropriate with their skills and abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operational excellence

  • Drive standardisation of processes, tools, and ways of working across all operational site and estates.

  • Embed Our Name by ensuring reliability, consistency, and high-quality service delivery across all implementations.

  • People

  • Hold accountability for operational structures aligned in the design phase.

  • Recruitment and onboarding

  • Training

  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

  • Promote One Company mindset by aligning practices, sharing best practices, and reducing operational silos across regions and functions.

  • Ensure consistent implementation of SOPs, KPIs and reporting frameworks across locations.

  • Identify and eliminate process variation to improve efficiency, scalability, and service quality.

  • Support replication of successful operational models to enable scalable growth.

  • HSE, Security & Business Resilience

  • Champion a 'Safety First' Mindset, embedding Constant Care into all operational activities and decision-making.

  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) regulations, company policies, and local legal requirements.

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks within warehouse fulfilment operations.

  • Customer Relations

  • Act as a key point of contact for operational matters during implementation phases.

  • Ensure clear communication and alignment with customers regarding operational readiness and performance.

  • Lead incident prevention through strong governance, safety audits, and root cause analysis of near misses and incidents.

  • Ensure all team members are appropriately trained, certified, and equipped to perform their roles safely.

  • Ensure consistent adherence to safety standards across all sites, regardless if ownership model.

  • Promote a proactive safety culture where every colleague takes ownership for their own safety and that of others.

Minimum Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of fulfilment, warehousing and logistics operations

  • Strong understanding of supply chain Interdependency and end to end processes.

  • Proven experience managing teams within fast-paces operational environments.

  • A Leader of leaders who can build a strong team

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and operational tools

  • Experience in implementation or project-based operational environments

  • Experience in UAT

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of a bonded warehouse and customs understanding

  • IOSH/NEBOSH Qualification

  • International Transport Manager CPC Qualification
