Associate Finance Controller
Associate Finance Controller will be part of the ATR Reporting and Controlling organization and will work with wide range of stakeholders within and outside the finance and operations organization.
He / She will be responsible to ensure that the global accounting processes, IFRS and group guidelines are followed. He / She needs to ensure the accounting and reporting is completed in timely and accurate manner. He / She will also be responsible for One Stream reporting of the allotted entity. He / She will also be responsible to liaise with auditors.
He/she is expected to act proactively to implement continuous improvements in areas of General Ledger and cost centre accounting, controlling and reporting.

Key activities/responsibilities would be:
Perform month end accounting and reporting activities in S4 HANA, One Stream, MS Excel and other process specific tools. Review, validate and update the accounting records, process documents, reporting and ensure those are in compliance. Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation and initiate follow-up on the open items Ensuring correct accounting, controlling and reporting in SAP at all levels: GL, cost center and Profit Center; monthly accruals postings, providing explanation for management reporting. Adherence to RICC control framework, perform controls attestation.
Suggest recommendations for development and implement changes to processes and systems which will improve control environment.
Required experience & skills
Financial educational background such as Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / Post Graduate (MBA) / CA/CWA Finalist etc. Minimum 3 - 7 years of (post-qualification) work experience within accounting and reporting area, preferably in book closing, finalization and reporting, Good working knowledge of SAP and experience in One Stream reporting would be an added advantage. Proactive, Self-motivated and continuously looks for opportunities Excellent analytical and structured working method, Good communication skills in written and verbal English Adapts easily to a dynamic environment and ability to handle phases with high workload and unplanned activities. Team player - to achieve results and fosters teamwork. Shipping/ Transportation industry experience would be an added advantage but not mandatory.
