  • Advise site Managers / Safety Champions on how to lead their teams on HSE, share best practices and inspirational success stories.

  • Support site Managers / Safety Champions in their duty to determine the root-causes of (high potential) incidents and eliminating these, inc. the facilitation of learning teams.

  • Control measures needed to mitigate hazards that are present in the workplaces

  • Design and execute a local HSE Leader Led Gemba program in line with country or area programs.

  • Conduct routine site visits to operational sites

Stakeholder Management, Engagement & Capability Building

  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, Procurement to ensure 3rd party labour HSE controls are in place.

  • Support site Managers / Safety Champions in the effective use of visual management tools to engage workforce (e.g. toolbox, learnings, etc.)

  • Provide information on training, and education in the field of HSE upon request of site management

  • Coordinate HSE Committee meetings to ensure alignment of HSE initiatives and programs.

  • Act as the contact person to external HSE consultants where needed for highly specialized risk control

Emergency Preparedness & Environmental Management:

  • Coordinate and assure the implementation of emergency response capabilities (first-aid, fire and evacuation).

  • Support site Waste Coordinators with waste management, inspections, and reporting

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience, preferably within logistics, warehousing or manufacturing environments.

  • Experience must be Safety Officer level 3 (SO3) or level 4 (SO4)

  • Experience engaging directly with clients and external stakeholders, including delivering presentations, updates, and safety-related communications

  • Proven ability to act as a bridge between site operations and clients, ensuring alignment on safety standards and operational expectations

  • Exposure to working with large multinational clients is an advantage

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) and familiar with Kaizen methodologies would be preferred

  • Strong background in root cause analysis and continuous improvement practices

  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards
