Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive, you will be on the frontline of growth - proactively hunting for new customers and creating strong opportunities for our products. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively hunt for new business opportunities.

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new customers through research, outreach, and market engagement.

  • Build tailored value propositions based on customer needs.

  • Drive the full sales cycle - from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure.

  • Ensure a smooth handover of new accounts to operations and account management teams.

  • Monitor customer performance during the onboarding period and address any challenges early.

  • Represent Maersk at industry events, trade fairs, and customer forums to expand your network.

  • Share market insights with product and marketing teams to strengthen our customer offerings.

  • Support the expansion of Maersk’s presence within key industry verticals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Sales experience in freight forwarding business and knowledge of the market

  • High energy, strong motivation, and a true hunter mentality- someone excited to chase new opportunities.

  • Confidence in approaching new customers and building early relationships.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • A proactive mindset, resilience, and the ability to perform in a competitive environment.

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn about global logistics.
