APM Terminals

The role is to be part of the Engineering team, to coordinate for Maintenance and Repair operations with multiple stake holders, to complete the day to day task on ensuring the machine undergo preventive and periodic check. To ensure break down maintenance activities are completed in minimal time and support business functions. Ensure timely updating of internal systems and follow up on the procurement activities, to ensure HSSE and compliances are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, scheduled, and breakdown maintenance on Container Handling equipment, Material Handling Equipment, including compressors, Fire hydrant system, Truck and Facility maintenance.
• Inventory Management of all spares and consumables
• Resource planning
• Follow procurement process , Create RQN, PO and GRN
• Timely vendor payments
• Ensure all statutory compliance are met at all time
• Support Internal Business functions
• Ensure HSSE requirements are met and followed at all times
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and operational guidelines
• Analyze and interpret technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, and piping diagrams to identify and address problems.
• Maintain all equipment as per OEM service recommendation
• Collaborate with the operations team to plan and prioritize daily maintenance tasks.
• Support operational efficiency by addressing maintenance requirements promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and troubleshooting results.
• Prepare and share daily reports with internal teams to ensure transparency and effective communication.
• Adhere to the preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Conduct scheduled inspections of operating equipment and log findings in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure the spares are procured timely by coordinating with procurement team

• Complying with HSSE Requirements and ensuring Corrective and Preventive Actions.
• Follow the highest safety standards with no compromise.
• Understand and promote the importance of Safety by observing and supporting all safety initiatives strictly and demonstrate commitment towards safety
• Complying with Environmental Requirements and ensuring to promote sustainability
• Ensure the risk assessment and SOP are periodically reviewed or when the process or condition changes
• Ensure all process are in alignment to the IMS Standards
• Ensure all Near miss, observations are reported on internal portal timely
