The Regulatory Product Operations team is situated at the heart of Lyft’s business: we develop and support vital operations core to keeping Lyft’s business growing and in compliance. We are inherently cross-functional, working with Lyft’s Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to enforce ever-changing requirements while also educating and enabling our drivers to meet those requirements across Lyft’s entire ecosystem.
As a Level 4 Associate Program Manager, you will independently own the strategy and execution for several end-to-end projects or program areas. You aren't just following a checklist; you are driving the delivery of complex regulatory solutions. You will be responsible for organizing regulatory problems into actionable milestones, balancing business interests with legal requirements, and maintaining a proficient understanding of the technical services involved. You will lead cross-departmental collaboration, building alignment between technical and non-technical partners to ensure Lyft remains compliant and competitive.
Responsibilities:

Strategy & Execution: Independently drive projects of small to medium scope and complexity from ideation to delivery. Manage initiatives, KRs, and key metrics to ensure program health.

Technical Domain Knowledge: Build and leverage a strong technical foundation of Lyft services, owning updates to and roadmaps for internal services. Facilitate discussions with technical teams to understand trade-offs around decisions.

Operational Improvement: Improve existing processes and mitigate delays in execution. Ensure the right projects are being prioritized based on business need and urgency.

Actionable Recommendations: Assemble and present recommendations to leadership. Use data and insights to identify pain points and opportunities for the driver experience.

Data & Insights: Use data to track performance and support your recommendations. Share regular updates on progress and roadblocks, involving others when necessary to restore customer experience.

Leadership & Collaboration: Build an effective project core team and mentor team members. Foster a supportive work environment where you invite and value all voices.
Experience:
-
3–5+ years of experience in Program Management, Product Operations, or a similar role in a fast-paced environment.

Program Management Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to own multiple project workstreams end-to-end with limited oversight.

Technical Literacy: Proficient level understanding of technical products and services. Comfortable participating in and providing value to cross-functional technical discussions.

Analytical Skill: Able to interpret data and metrics to measure success and identify improvements. Knowledge of SQL or data visualization tools is a plus.

Communication: Able to summarize a program area clearly and concisely to varying audiences with little notice. Leads effective meetings and contributes meaningfully to team discussions.

Regulatory/Compliance Interest: Experience or strong interest in navigating complex, shifting regulatory landscapes.

Accountability: High sense of urgency and ownership over both personal goals and shared team outcomes.

The expected base pay range for this position in the New York City area is $108,000 - $135,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
