Data Curation Associate

Data Curation Operations is a team which supports all ongoing curation projects for Mapping and other teams at Lyft. Our mission is to improve customer experience in Lyft products by providing high-quality, comprehensive, and efficient data curation operations.
In this role, you will closely with various team to curate and maintain places data sets that are essential for our operations and decision-making processes. We are looking for someone who has good analytical skills and is able to process a large amount of data. Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer feedback on places data issues, performing corrections and categorization.
- Review and correct large volumes of data, meticulously documenting issues for analysis.
- Escalate issues effectively to relevant internal teams.
- Performing deep dives and root cause analysis. Augmenting/preparing collected data for the engineering team.
- Work with mapping tools with high accuracy in accordance with guidelines.
- Working with the Google Suite of products/services such as G-mail, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Calendar, etc.
- Keeping a high level of accuracy, attention to details and integrity.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Ability and readiness to deal with monotonous work without losing concentration.
- General understanding of the traffic regulations, mapping fundamentals.
- Customer obsessed:
You are passionate about delivering great customer experiences with a strong track record to back that up. You have analytical and problem-solving skills to help implement changes that improve the customer experience.
- Collaborative communicator:
You excel in verbal and written communication (English, Ukrainian). You collaborate effectively with your team and can communicate with other teams or stakeholders as needed. You are receptive to feedback and direction, enabling you to successfully carry out tasks and contribute to team goals.
- Strong computer skills:
You feel comfortable learning new processes, systems & tools, including labeling tools (data labeling, image labeling) and Google Workspace products.
Nice to have:
- Experience processing and triaging feedback.
- Experience with data entry or data labeling.
- Experience mentoring/sharing knowledge with the team.
- Background in mapping, cartography and any related fields.
- Familiarity with Jira.
