What the position offers you:To support our growth in the Service Now Business Group in the Netherlands, we are looking for Service Now Consultants. As a Service Now Consultant you will be part of an innovative team, working to define and deploy world class customer solutions using the Service Now platform.
Service Now Business Consultant provides process and functional expertise as a consulting service to clients; contributing to the design and delivery of Service Now solutions including customer engagement, user requirement definition, change management, demonstrations, business focused testing and training. You will develop and demonstrate specialized knowledge and skills in Service Now as an enterprise solution.

Job Specifics/Responsibilities

You will be a part of a team of Service Now specialists delivering Service Now solutions to multiple customers.

Leading workshops to demonstrate the platform and application function, define client current and desired state, and finally the proposed solution.

Building client understanding of Service Now functionality and presenting to a high standard of quality, including customers demonstration, story definition, testing, and supporting the wider sales and delivery functions

Mentoring and training more junior members of the team

Producing documentation and training material for the implemented solutions; training the client

Effective problem solver with ability to examine and re-engineer processes, procedures and practices

What You Bring With You Education (degree) and professional experience required:
-
Bachelor/master degree in business, computer science or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Three or more years of relevant work experience within the Service Now platform (ITSM, ITOM, GRC, Sec Ops, HRSD and/or other areas in Service Now)
-
Experience in consulting external customers
-
Knowledge of ITSM and agile ways of working frameworks like DevOps, IT4IT, ITIL
Skills And Qualities
-
Strong experience in the full life cycle of Software Development, from business requirements analysis to solution design, testing and go-live

An understanding of Service Management concepts, delivery assurance principals and procedures
-
You will need to have strong communication skills both written and oral, ability to present solutions to customers including senior management and be highly focused on providing strong customer service.

Able to work as part of a team or individually to project timelines, you will need to be pro-active, creative, and able to research solutions and make recommendations, willing to learn and take on new challenges.

Strong personal commitment to quality service

Must have experience dealing with technical end-users in a service-oriented role.

Highly focused on customer satisfaction

Ability to switch between multiple tasks/projects/contexts.

Curious and self-learner

Ability to assume leadership and work without direct supervision.

Strong interpersonal communication skills and like working with customers in problem solving mode.

Capacity to travel which will be necessary but is not integral to this position.

Fluent in Dutch and English, another European language would be an asset.
