Job Description:

Here at DXC Technology we continue to significantly expand our SAP business in the UK and in Europe and are looking for a SAP Project Portfolio Manager to join our client focused SAP delivery team. This position will be working as single point of contact between the client and DXC for SAP delivery working with our account leadership and clients daily to coordinate delivery across a portfolio of client requirements (projects, small change and enhancements) ensuring smooth ongoing delivery across this busy SAP portfolio. This position will be working with the client to improve working relationship and helping support and maintain future direction and roadmap for SAP as a client asset.

Experience in SAP delivery and understanding the SAP delivery lifecycle is essential along with very strong stakeholder management skills.

Due to the nature of our clients, we can only consider sole British Nationals that have lived and worked in the UK consecutively for the past 5 years, we are unable to consider dual nationals currently.

Essential Job Functions:

• Improving DXC’s working relationships with IT and the Business

• SPOC for client into DXC for anything SAP related

• Having an overarching view of the future direction, roadmap and exploitation of SAP as client’s asset, to enable IT to demonstrate the value of SAP to the business

• Managing the incoming pipeline of work to enable a smooth flow of prioritised business objectives to be achieved

• Work with client stakeholders to understand and analyse business requirements turning opportunities into deliverable statements of work

• Overall management and control of SAP projects identified within the agreed SAP portfolio where responsibility for delivery is assigned to DXC

• Own all aspects of delivery, including budget, quality, customer satisfaction and solution assurance

• Ensure related resource planning, deliverables and team expectations are appropriately managed

• Work extensively with DXC teams and 3rd parties where necessary in multiple locations to ensure successful delivery

Basic Qualifications

• Proven experience and project/programme management and delivery is essential.

• Experience of project and finance reporting tool

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

• Ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse to think clearly and present ideas and plan in a concise and effective manner.

• Experience of working and leading project teams including third party vendors, Business Analysts, Test team, SMEs.

• Experience of effectively managing 3rd party vendors is essential.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is essential.
