About DXC

DXC Technology empowers global enterprises to run mission‑critical operations with excellence, scale, and reliability. Within this framework, the Global Payroll organization is transforming how DXC delivers payroll and time‑tracking services across the world—standardizing processes, strengthening compliance, and driving digital enablement.

We are seeking a Payroll Process & Project Manager who can operate confidently in a complex, multi‑country environment and help lead our ongoing payroll transformation agenda.

Role Overview

The Payroll Process & Project Manager leads end‑to‑end payroll and time‑tracking implementation projects across the APAC region. This role is suited for someone who can drive outcomes, influence stakeholders, and translate business needs into scalable, compliant processes.

Although the minimum experience requirement is 4 years, this position is ideal for candidates who have managed significant workstreams, demonstrated strong ownership, and operated in a fast‑paced global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Lead the delivery of payroll and time‑tracking projects—ensuring execution on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Drive structured project planning, RAID management, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Provide clear and concise status updates to leadership, including risks, decisions, and escalations.

Process Design & Requirements

  • Conduct business requirements analysis and document end‑to‑end payroll processes.
  • Perform fit‑gap assessments to DXC global standards and local statutory requirements.
  • Design scalable processes that support operational excellence, global consistency, and compliance.

Quality, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure full adherence to payroll controls, audit requirements, and governance frameworks.
  • Support change‑management and testing activities including scenario validation and UAT execution.
  • Contribute to global payroll quality initiatives, standardization efforts, and process health checks.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce manual work, and automate processes.
  • Influence key stakeholders to adopt best practices and global standards.
  • Support performance improvements through metrics, insights, and process redesign.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Payroll Ops, HR, IT, Vendors, and country teams to drive coordinated project execution.
  • Operate effectively in a virtual global environment with distributed teams and multiple vendors.
  • Manage multi‑country communications and facilitate alignment across time zones.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 4+ years of project management experience, preferably in payroll, HR systems, or large‑scale process transformation.

  • Experience with SAP Payroll, Workday Time Tracking, Kronos, Replicon or Deltek time solutions strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with finance systems or integrations between payroll and finance/ERP platforms is an advantage.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.

  • PMI / PMP / Agile certification is an advantage.

  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive results.

  • Strong business application skills (Excel, PowerBI, reporting tools, documentation tools).

  • Fluent English; excellent presentation and communication skills.
