Key Responsibilities
Fin Ops Leadership & Cloud Cost Optimization
-
Lead Fin Ops delivery across client engagements, ensuring continuous cost optimization and governance.
-
Identify, track, and drive Fin Ops savings to deliver tangible client benefits.
-
Develop and implement cloud cost visibility, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting practices.
Client Engagement & Governance
-
Manage client visits, QBRs, governance meetings, and executive reviews.
-
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cloud financial management and operational efficiency.
-
Present optimization insights, savings reports, and architectural recommendations in a clear, business‑aligned manner.
Cloud Operations & Architecture Alignment
-
Partner closely with Cloud Operations and Architecture teams to ensure cost optimization aligns with platform strategy and cloud roadmaps.
-
Translate Fin Ops insights into executable infrastructure and application improvement actions.
-
Evaluate cloud architecture for cost implications, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
RFPs, Solutioning & New Deal Support
-
Contribute significantly to RFP responses, proposals, and presales discussions.
-
Support new deal solutioning, including cloud cost models, sizing estimates, and optimization strategies.
-
Provide domain expertise to improve deal competitiveness and win rates.
Collaboration with Hyperscaler Offering Leads
-
Work closely with Azure and AWS offering leads on solution alignment, funding programs, architecture best practices, and go‑to‑market initiatives.

Leverage hyperscaler tools and partner benefits to enhance client outcomes and delivery efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
-
7–12 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Fin Ops, Cloud Operations, or Cloud Architecture.
-
Strong understanding of Fin Ops principles, cloud cost governance, allocation models, and optimization methodologies.
-
Experience with AWS, Azure, or multi‑cloud environments and associated cost‑management tools.
-
Proven experience in client‑facing delivery roles, conducting governance discussions, and managing executive expectations.
-
Hands‑on understanding of cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, network), architectural patterns, and cloud-native operations.
-
Experience supporting RFPs, solutioning, and presales engagements.
-
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
-
Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Cloud Ops, Architecture, and hyperscaler partner teams.
Preferred Qualifications

Fin Ops Certified Practitioner or Professional

Azure or AWS Cloud Certifications
-
Experience in multi‑cloud cost management platforms (Cloud Health, Cloudability, Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, etc.)
-
Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
