About the Team / Offering
Consulting & Engineering Services (CES): DXC CES helps clients solve complex strategic, operational, and technology challenges through automation, AI, and software-defined products and systems. We co-create innovative solutions to optimize mission-critical systems and deliver sustainable competitive advantages.
About the Role
As a Java Tech Leader, you will lead technical teams, design scalable solutions, and ensure delivery excellence for enterprise-grade applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor engineers, and drive innovation in microservices-based architectures.
What you will do

Determine project requirements and develop work schedules for the team.

Delegate tasks and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

Liaise with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects meet standards.
-
Identify risks and create contingency plans.
-
Analyze operations and schedule training sessions for improvements.
-
Stay updated with industry trends and developments.
-
Troubleshoot and update work schedules as needed.
-
Motivate staff and foster open communication.
-
Prepare progress reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
Who you are
-
10 years of experience in Core Java and Spring frameworks.
-
Expertise in REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
-
Strong experience with Relational Databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle).
-
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Java Collections.
-
Experience with version control tools (Bitbucket, GitLab).
-
Experience implementing/creating CI/ID pipelines.
-
Familiarity with debugging logs and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Other Qualifications
-
Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
-
Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React is a plus.
-
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
-
Ability to manage teams and work as an individual contributor.

Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
