Job Description:

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter with bilingual skills (Japanese and English) and ability to direct-hire candidates in the Japan IT market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT services sector recruitment, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to deliver top talent in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for direct-hire positions in Japan, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

Market Expertise: Leverage knowledge of the Japanese IT services market to identify and attract high-quality candidates.

Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies.

Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process.

Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong network of IT professionals in Japan for current and future hiring needs.

Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local labor laws and company policies.

Data & Reporting: Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on progress and market trends.

Qualifications & Skills

Language: Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.

Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years of recruitment experience, with at least 5 years in IT services sector.

Proven success in direct-hire recruitment within Japan

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT roles (e.g but not limited to software engineers, project managers, cloud specialists).

Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Tools: Experience with ATS systems and sourcing platforms (Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and other sourcing channels in Japan market).
