Lead People Analytics Consultant

About this team
The People Analytics team at lululemon is on a journey to create a high-performance work culture by supporting the People & Culture (HR) organization and the business with data-driven insights. As a Senior People Analytics Consultant for APAC (Asia Pacific, excluding China), you will work closely with the Business Partners, Co Es, and the People Analytics team to innovate and build metrics & analytical products that our business leaders need to help scale and grow lululemon. You will be responsible for collaborating with and supporting stakeholders and partners both in region and globally, using data to influence key strategic business decisions, and scale insights as we grow our work.
A day in the life- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders and senior leaders to understand key business priorities and challenges to design the right actionable and scalable people metrics and insights.
- Contribute to the regional and global People Analytics strategy by identifying emerging needs, opportunities and innovations that enhance decision-making capabilities.
- Consult on the build and delivery of analytical and BI solutions, such as scorecards and dashboards, including guides and other supportive materials, with sensitivity to specific local needs.
- Consult on and coordinate New Market Entry and Market Expansion initiatives from a people data, reporting, and analytics perspective.
- Generate and present data findings and insights across all levels of leadership and stakeholders in a compelling way and facilitate discussion.
- Scale and champion self-service by guiding stakeholders to find disseminating knowledge and products available to stakeholders to meet their immediate needs.
- Serve as a liaison back to the broader People Analytics team regarding the needs of the business for roadmap considerations, especially as it relates to market-specific data governance and regulations.
- Analyze and interpret large and complex people data sets to distill insights; connect disparate ideas into cohesive recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to provide an organized and holistic analysis of the workforce.
- Work on strategically advised project teams to design actionable metrics & analytics from a variety of different sources.
- Manage and mentor emerging talent and members of the People Analytics team on a regular basis.
- Partner cross-functionally across People & Culture and other teams to deliver holistic workforce analyses and support strategic initiatives.
- Socialize and ensure consistency around data quality through the development of educational programs and process improvements.
- Support ad hoc requests for analysis from stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience transforming and analyzing people data from multiple sources to drive business insights.
- Mastery with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Power BI).
- Proficiency with SQL, Python/R basics.
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills and experience successfully partnering with senior leaders to drive improved outcomes for the business through analytics.
- Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and detail orientation.
- Proven ability to deliver presentations to stakeholders that tell a compelling story using analytics relevant to the audience.
- Ability to influence COE partners and stakeholders including COE leadership.
- Experience with employees and organizational data is required.
- Advanced People Analytics and HR Procedural domain knowledge required.
- Discretion and experience working with sensitive and confidential data (data governance).
- B.A. in I/O Psychology or related field, Masters Preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written, and verbal communication skills.
