We are currently seeking a Sr. Interaction Designer, Visualization Real-Time. This position requires an experienced professional with a background in real-time interaction visualization. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

Your Role:

• Maintain existing Augmented Reality (AR) applications developed for iOS devices

• Create unique, innovative, and photorealistic Mixed Reality experiences for iOS devices and VR headsets

• Apply unique UI principles required for AR and VR experiences to application design

• Create new 3D assets and optimize existing 3D assets for integration into AR applications

• Perform debugging, user testing, and feedback integration during the development lifecycle

• Application optimization to ensure low latency in real-time rendering for efficient performance across various devices and platforms.

• Stay at the forefront of trends, emerging hardware, and AR/ VR best practices

• Exhibit imagination and enthusiasm for applying this technology in novel and unexpected ways

• Develop strategic, cross-functional relationships within the company to help conceive and implement immersive experiences to improve workflows

Expectations:

• A strong portfolio of interactive AR and VR experiences

• Experience and knowledge of Automotive design development across a wide range of products

• Experience developing iOS applications

• Experience publishing i

OS applications via Apple Business Developer:

• Experience developing applications for Meta hardware

• Experience with Meta Device Management (MDM) for hardware management

• Experience with version control using Git

• Expert knowledge of scripting, C++ or C#, and Python

• Experience with CAD optimization using Pixyz or similar

• A self-motivating, ambitious, and outgoing work ethic, strong aesthetic sensibilities and a passion for predicting future trends in real-time technology

• Excellent communication skills when collaborating with technical and non-technical contributing stakeholders

Education:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

• Three to five years of relevant development experience.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Base Pay Range (Annual)$159,800—$234,410 USD

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
