As a Data Engineer on the Data & Business Intelligence team, you will enable data-driven decision-making by building and scaling Logic Monitor’s data platform. You will design, develop, and operate robust data pipelines and architectures that transform raw data into reliable, actionable insights across the organization.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of data, from ingestion and modeling to storage and consumption, leveraging modern cloud-based technologies and distributed systems. You will partner closely with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business teams to ensure data is accessible, well-modeled, and aligned with evolving analytical and operational needs.
Here's a closer look at this key role:

Manage and support Snowflake data warehouse and data modeling tool, dbt.

Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiencies and ensure reliability across data warehouse infrastructure

Own and maintain tools required to support data infrastructure

Implement feature enhancements to systems according to Logic Monitor business needs

Ensure integrations between warehouse systems are working as expected and resolve any errors

Communicate and resolve planned or unplanned system downtime

Establish and implement best practices with regards to system maintenance, security, release management, improvements, data integrity, duplicates, backups, etc.
What You'll Need:
-
Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g. Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science) or equivalent experience

Minimum 3 years of SQL experience in the data analytics space

Experience optimizing database/query performance
-
Experience with business visualization tools (PowerBI), data warehousing (Snowflake), and data orchestration (Airflow).

A desire to learn and assimilate technical information quickly.

Experience with data management, transformation, cleaning, and de-duplication

Proficiency with a scripting language (e.g. Python, R, Perl, bash) is a huge plus

Experience with the AWS ecosystem

Proven track record of having implemented, enhanced and supported data warehouse systems and reporting tools

Ability to work autonomously and lead small to medium projects

Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, innovation, or problem-solving.
