Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern Project Engineer. In this role, you will support various site-level initiatives that may involve translating raw data into automated charts/presentations; develop labor standards; perform time studies on new or existing processes; support the bidding process with new standards; provide support to manufacturing through monitoring of cost metrics through initiatives that result in waste elimination and process improvements. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of data analysis, Microsoft Office Suite, and Tableau. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders. Must be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or relevant degree from an accredited college or university.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills:

• Local candidates highly preferred
• Data analysis and project experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Ability to navigate small-to-medium projects to completion over 1-3 month period
• Familiar with Tableau

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
