Integrated Engineering Associate Manager - TSNI at Lockheed Martin

Training, Logistics and Simulation (TLS) Integrated Engineering is looking for a first line leader responsible for a diverse, multi-disciplinary team that develops innovative training and logistics solutions for Training Systems Network Infrastructure (TSNI) Integrated Program Team.
THE WORK
The selected candidate will also have a role supporting the program to be defined upon being hired to best utilize their skillset, which may include Work Package Management, Scrum Master, Product Owner, amongst other program leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Enabling and managing the performance of talented, multi-disciplined engineering teams by setting and clearly communicating organizational vision, expectations and objectives.
- Ensure the integrity of engineering activity by employing both quantitative and qualitative management approaches and compliance with Command Media. Collect and use data to make data-driven decisions.
- Actively monitor staffing demand and take action to ensure sufficient supply.
- Promote the continual identification and active management of teams’ risks and opportunities.
- Champion continuous improvement activities, especially those aligning to Digital Transformation.
- Organize and facilitate the personal and career development of team members. Ensure team members are prepared with the training and skills to be successful within their teams. Create and execute organizational training plans.
- Partner with Human Resources to promote a “people first” culture and to resolve all personnel-related matters in a timely fashion

This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7 or more years of professional experience
-
Experience leading or coaching a team
-
Experience working collaboratively with Program Management, Finance, and Contracts organizations
-
Knowledgeable in Systems/Software Engineering processes and tools
-
Experience across the System Development Life Cycle
-
Experience planning and coordinating systems/software development in a team-oriented environment
-
Experience with Dev Sec Ops Practices inclusive of Agile Product Development leveraging Scrum & Kanba
Desired Skills: -
Advanced degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Management
-
Experience in Systems Engineering, Complex Systems Integration & Test, and Model-Based Engineering (MBE) processes, principles and tools

Experience developing and managing a project budget and schedule, managing risks and opportunities, managing to metrics
-
Understanding of program, functional, and process metrics including Earned Value Management (EVM)

SAFe Training/Certification, RMS SAM Training/Certification or other Recognized Agile Certification
-
Experience leading a team through change
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
