Who You Are

You'll perform as a Global Supply Chain Category Management, Manager

What You Will Be Doing

You'll develop a global sourcing strategy for commodities (categories.) Define project scope and facilitate execution, and identify savings opportunities in order to provide differentiating value. Work with Business Area, Business Unit or Enterprise-wide, cross-functional teams to analyze supply base risks & opportunities, identify new sources of supply and meet business requirements. Negotiate and manage contracts and relationships with suppliers to drive innovative strategies that enhance performance. Implement policies and metrics to ensure that savings goals are realized and performance requirements are achieved. Act as the main focal point for all matters pertaining to the given category. You'll be be responsible for quality and performance of supplier products and for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Domestic & International travel and manage supply base to include (up to 10% travel)

You must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this role

Basic Qualifications:
Experienced supply chain management professional who has led complex US DoD subcontract teams
Proficient in FFP, CPFF, CPIF & T&M contract types, and the impact of executed decisions

Experienced with Purchase Order (PO) negotiations to include: solving complex challenges associated with subcontract execution

Experience leading teams or projects, and mentoring peers & subordinates on how to procure and manage subcontracts

Experience collaborating and communicating
cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion

Advanced Microsoft Office suite of applications

Domestic & International travel and manage supply base to include (up to 10% travel) is required

You must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this role
Desired Skills:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Advanced experience & understanding of Subcontract and Supplier Management concepts, as well as overall cost, schedule, technical and quality performance for supply base

Experience in formal project management methodologies, such as Root Cause, RCCA and systems analysis tools, processes, and methods

Experience briefing internal and external executive level leaders

Experienced as a professional communicator and a team leader; as this person will be responsible for building great relationships with supplier leaders, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics counterparts, and some customer staff
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
