Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly, Engineering Aide in Huntsville, Alabama

In this role you will do the following:

• Generate engineering documentation, reports, detailed actions plans, block diagrams, and schedules
• Attend daily and weekly team meetings to discuss technical, schedule and operations issues, etc.
• Develop weekly status chart package and reporting to programs/management, review technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Perform requirements analysis, coordinate technical exchange meetings, develop presentation material, and handle peer reviews

The Successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the following:

• Ability to tackle detailed technical assignments often requiring learning or developing planning and integration skills
• Proficiency in project planning and product life cycle management; performing design assessments and developing data driven solutions

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access, and will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience and/or technical training

• Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

• U.S. Citizenship required
  Desired Skills:

• Preferred Candidates will have an Associate's degree in a STEM related field

• Good presentation skills; must be able to present clearly and concisely on a weekly basis to management and customers.

• Able to work independently within a team and handle multiple priorities and internal customers

• Ability to tackle detailed technical assignments often requiring learning or developing planning and integration skills

• Proficiency in project planning and product life cycle management

• Performing design assessments and developing data driven solutions

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, scrum master and use of Jira boards

• Strong skills in use of Python, C/C++, IDL, and/or Matlab

• Laboratory and/or hardware integration and handling skills

• Knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) for procurement

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
