Description: IAM Hourly represented employees who currently work at the main (Sunnyvale/Palo Alto) unit, Santa Cruz, VAFB or Eastern Range facilities must apply to open requisitions on Brass Ring to be considered for the position.

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

Prepare and issue badges, passes and related credentials to provide for identification and entry of employees and authorized facility visitors. Compile and maintain complete identification records and files.

WORK PERFORMED
Fingerprint and photograph new employees, vendors, customers, outside contractors, and their representatives. Prepare and issue employee badges. Make badge changes for employees affected by transfer and maintain records of such transactions.
Issue passes and/or badges to authorized facility visitors such as customers, vendors, contractors, and their representatives and as required, secure authorization for entry of said personnel.
Arrange for the documentary clearance, return and storage of keys and identification materials. Check badges for proper access assignments.
Maintain complete identification files, including such documents and data as employee photographs, records of issuance and losses of badges, keys, and related items.
Issue, record, and make periodic audit of supplementary materials, such as temporary badges, inter-departmental passes and related identification materials.
Operate miscellaneous identification equipment, such as badge printers, scanners, identification camera and related equipment.
Operate computers to complete miscellaneous identification forms and paperwork.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of identification procedures, methods and practices, and personnel paperwork as applicable to identification and badging of new hires, Company employees and authorized visitors.
  • Knowledge of related functions performed within the Security department.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with new hires, Company employees and facility visitors.
  • Ability to operate diversified identification equipment.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience with customer service and controlled facility access operations.
  • Experience in operating Physical Access Control Systems (Lenel).
  • Knowledge of citizenship documents, and identification procedures, methods and practices.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
