Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Software Engineer Sr to join a high performing team focused on software in a Dev Sec Ops development environment for the Maintenance Systems (Mx Sys) Line of Business. In this role, you will work on software design, software code, and software test. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Java programming language, agile, and testing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or above in a technical discipline.

• Experience in full software development lifecycle

• Experience with the Java Programming Language

• Experience with Databases

• Experience with the following Web-application tools: Maven, Junit, Sonar Qube

• Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
  Desired Skills:

• Experience with GitLab, pom file, helm charts, vagrant

• Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD pipelines Understanding of containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc)

• Familiarity designing microservice-based architecture

• Familiar with C++

• Oracle or Postgres experience

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
