Operations Manager, Advanced Programs - Level 5
Description:

- Level 5 for the Advanced Programs Operations team which is responsible for delivering worldwide operational capabilities and maintaining customer relationships.
What You Will Be Doing
- As the Operations Manager
- Advanced Programs
- Level 5 you will be responsible for leading a high‑performance Operations & Maintenance (O&M) organization, translating customer requirements into actionable capabilities, and driving growth through innovative solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:

Lead the O&M team of pilots, engineers, technicians, and security personnel to deliver seamless worldwide operations.

Serve as the primary interface with customers, converting requirements into capabilities and uncovering new business opportunities.

Manage the total customer budget and coordinate home‑based support functions—including engineering, operations, and sustainment.

Oversee remote and overseas teams, ensuring compliance with contractual performance standards and adapting to a dynamic global environment.

Build and maintain credible relationships with both company and customer stakeholders, exercising sound judgment under pressure.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to be considered.
Basic Qualifications:

Leadership/Management Experience
-
Experience leading teams or organizations within the aviation industry
-
Experience in cross-collaboration with multiple departments
-
Experience with such programs/items as: Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, Configuration Control, Information Systems Management, Ground Stations, Training, Safety and Security.
-
Active Top Secret Clearance
Desired Skills: -
Experience working with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements

Experience with planning and schedules

Experience with customer interface
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience resolving conflicts and providing technical direction

Ability to resolve ethical, moral and personality conflicts with employees

Exemplary customer and employee relationship skills
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level:
Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
