Systems Integration/Test Engineer - Orlando FL
Description:
You will be the System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support a program's system integration and system qualification initiatives in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for executing sub-system and system level integration and tests for new and existing products.
What You Will Be Doing
As the IT&E Engineer, you will be responsible for working in the laboratory onsite:

Generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures
-
Supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events
-
Supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware
-
Support Failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing

Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile
-
Leading the Lab Operations to ensure compliance, 6S and regular audit/inspections

Working closely with the Engineering Operations Directorate to synergize our working relationship

This position requires the ability to travel domestically to support program test events and meetings.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Final Secret Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience in a related field
-
Strong understanding of test planning, test
execution, lab operations, and test analysis principles -
Must have a Final Secret security clearance at a minimum
Desired Skills: -
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration and Test (I&T) working with Hardware and Software on Sensor systems
-
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment with multiple priorities and deadlines -
Prior demonstrated Lab ownership responsibilities related to 6S, operations, audit and inspection
-
Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex test data and provide recommendations for
product design improvements -
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
-
Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure
accurate and reliable test results -
Empowerment to drive mutually beneficial solutions when a clear answer is not readily visible

Experience with test fixture design, test procedure development, and test script creation
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
