- Skunk Works Location: Palmdale CAWhat You Will Be Doing
Provide strategy and business development support across the breadth of the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works Enduring Programs portfolio. Activities in the portfolio represent the full breadth of business development from the earliest shaping of emerging opportunities to major capture and keep sold of franchise programs. Additionally, Skunk Works is expanding into the international market to address the National Defense Strategy desire to strengthen our closest allies and partners.
The selected candidate will communicate to customers and decision makers at all levels focusing on operational capability, cost of ownership benefits and needs/requirements. This individual will execute customer engagements and communicate LM Aero specific messages and build relationships. Additionally, the selected candidate will lead market development, opportunity qualification, customer relationship management, decision mapping, competitive intelligence, customer analysis, competitor assessment, message and strategy development, and written responses to requests for information (RFIs) and proposals etc.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in advanced technology development and/or operation.

Bachelors Degree

Experience crafting presentations for senior decision makers.

Experience working across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions and leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams in development of customer solutions.

Experience managing multiple competing priorities under pressure.

Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance with SAP/SAR/SCI (with CI POLY) accesses

An understanding of command and control architectures and related Ground Control Stations for Unmanned Aircraft, Surface Vehicles, and/or Under Water Vehicles.

Experience with all phases of capturing new business and the proposal process.
Desired Skills: -
Knowledge and experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

An understanding of Autonomy and its application to US military systems and capabilities.

Knowledge of the US military Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.

Knowledge of the US military defense acquisition process to include foreign military sales and direct commercial sales.

Knowledge of US military operational doctrine.

Ability to Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $147,700 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
