What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Engineer Production Lead you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a thorough and detailed understanding of the technical scope, cost, and schedule, collaborating with the Program Management office, and driving the Domain Excellence (Dex) team performance.

'Your responsibilities will include:'

  • Perform EV analysis at the contract level and assess impacts on production contracts.

  • Align technical scope with program objectives and manage engineering scope.

  • Coordinate proposal initiatives for engineering changes impacting the F‑35 Air Vehicle with Test Readiness and Mods Readiness Leads.

  • Communicate technical issues to management and develop closure plans.

  • Identify cross‑contract gaps, risks and opportunities, and recommend resolutions.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 14 years professional experience in a related discipline

  • BS in Engineering or alternate STEM major with technical experience

  • Project Engineering/technical experience

  • Secret or higher security clearance with Special Access Programs
    Desired Skills:

  • EVMS and / or CAM certification.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.’

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • F-35 Program Experience

  • Experience developing project plans, basis-of-estimates, and integrated master schedules.

  • Experience working with PDM and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel).

  • Experience with contract modifications proposals

  • Experience leading a team and a large project.
    Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
