You will work independently while collaborating closely with Engineers, Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors to keep projects on schedule and on spec.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Placing and soldering components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering guides.
  • Fabricating wiring harnesses, including connector pinning, de pinning, and installation of mounting hardware.
  • Assembling lower-level builds into complete cabinet assemblies for delivery to Engineering or Production.
  • Applying MIL STD solder and harness certifications to every task and maintaining compliance.
  • Communicating design or process issues clearly—both verbally and in writing—to supervisors and engineers.
  • Using software tools (CAD, ERP, etc.) and Microsoft Office applications to track work orders, update job status, and document quality inspections.
  • Performing quality checks and ensuring each assembly meets functional and safety requirements.
  • Managing your workload as a self-starter while supporting the broader fabrication team’s goals.
