You will be the Assembler for the Production Team. Our team is responsible for bringing electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies to life.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Assembler you will be responsible for executing high‑quality assembly work on a variety of electronic and mechanical projects.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Perform both repetitive and non‑repetitive production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

Follow diagrams and drawings to create initial layouts.

Use hand and power tools, jigs, and saws to fabricate components.

Conduct continuity checks and quality inspections on work in progress and completed assemblies.

Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies per specifications.

Basic Qualifications:
Trained to IPC and J-Standard 001
Since this facility requires special access, all
candidates must be a US citizen.
Desired Skills:
Have completed and certified in classroom
electrical assembly and solder training. Perform
proficiently for a minimum of 3 months, actively
participate in the PMT process, perform routine,
repetitive, and basic tasks where precedent,
methods and processes are well established.
Makes simple decisions but refers most to more
experienced person.

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
