About the role

Description:

You will be the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer for the Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services team. Our team is responsible for delivering world‑class logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services to USSOCOM.

  • Knowledge of ESH regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT
  • Strong ability in hazard recognition
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating safety policy and procedure programs
  • Performs a variety of complex tasks

Basic Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

As the Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) Engineer you will be responsible for safeguarding people, property, and the environment across our operations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field

  • 4-7 years of experience in ESH, with a focus on occupational health and safety

  • Knowledge of ESH regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT

  • Strong ability in hazard recognition

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting
    Desired Skills:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

  • Knowledge of Lockheed Martin's ESH policies and procedures

  • Experience with ESH management systems, such as OHSAS 18001

  • Experience with Excel and Share Point

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • Certifications in ESH related fields (i.e., First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10/OSHA 30, Haz Mat, DOT Transportation of Hazardous Materials)
    Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
