Job Description
You will be a Manufacturing Planner Asc for the Production Planning and Control organization supporting the material center. Our team is responsible for driving material movements and planning in support of manufacturing operations to meet business objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing program planning and manufacturing planning activities, ensuring effective management of material shipments among workflow prioritization activities. .

Monitoring and managing production schedules, material procurement, and workflow prioritization.

Coordinating with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management.

Ensuring data integrity in the MRP system and effective management of kit issues and hardware needs.

Implementing and managing engineering and process changes in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Providing status reports and analyzing production data to inform business decisions.

Working collaboratively with manufacturing supervision and industrial engineering team members to prioritize workflow.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications:
Completed bachelor’s degree in related discipline, OR associate level education with equivalent professional level experience/combined education in supply chain/logistics.

Degree from an accredited college in the field such as supply chain management, operations management, or have business SAP ERP experience
Very good organization and communication skills
Past experience with Buy Planning, Manufacturing and/or Make Planning experience
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including: experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping/Transportation areas
ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
