About the role

Description: What You Will Be Doing

This position involves the following:

  • Manages a Staff of Shop Floor Production Control
  • Support employees including both salaried and represented personnel.
  • Manages material requirements for Production SWBS'S
    and other Marietta site or Feeder Functions to ensure a
    controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet
    production requirements.
  • Manages Floor WIP and schedule execution of theprogram plan.
  • Manages and monitors key performance indicators related to Production Control shop floor activities for parts
    movement and requirement planning.
  • Manages all Kanban and Point of use replenishment
    activity
  • Manages material requirements to mitigate negative
    impacts on production.
  • Provides Executive Summaries and detailed briefings to Senior Leadership
  • Utilizes Shop Floor Control and MRP working knowledge to support requirements planning, and execution for the
  • Component areas.
  • Manages salary contributors in the planning, integration, execution of production schedules and enhancement to
    material flow processes in a Performance Management
  • Team (PMT) environment.
  • Manages the flow of materials through the RCO
    processes to the shop floor or to support external needs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience

  • Experience in Shop Floor Manager (SFM) &/or Kitting
    related to production control disciplines and manufacturing flow.

  • Experience in Manufacturing environment
    Desired Skills:

  • Apriso and SFM Knowledge

  • Manufacturing/Production Line Experience

  • Supply Chain Experience

  • Previous Leadership Experience

  • Strong Project Management Background

  • 4-year College Degree or higher

  • Experience with Change Board councils

  • Experience with Global Sustainment spares and kitting process

  • Fabrication builds and back shop experience

  • Experience with Cost, Schedule and Technical Data

  • Experience in change management/6S/process

  • Repair process experience

  • Project management skills

  • Constraints Management

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
