The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of building systems and equipment within a manufacturing or industrial facility.

What You Will Be Doing

Primary duties include inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; performing routine preventive‑maintenance tasks; responding to work‑order requests and equipment failures; maintaining accurate records in the CMMS; ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards; and participating in scheduled shutdowns, upgrades, and capital‑project support.

Will also be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Lockheed Martin facility which will include, but not limited to, maintenance, moving furniture, assembling cubicles, cleaning & painting, assisting facilities with WO's and PM's, parts pick up.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience and/or General Laborer experience.

Experience with using repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

Experience using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.

Experience performing routine maintenance.

Desired Skills:

Good Driving record (Driving on site is required)

Proficient Computer skills: Word, Excel (able to learn new systems as needed).

Able to work after hours and respond to emergency's when needed.

Able to drive forklifts, man lifts, and fleet vehicles

Professional presentation and attitude.

Time management skills.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
