You will be the Proposal and Affordability Global Supply Chain (GSC) Lead responsible for driving proposal efforts and affordability initiatives for the F-35 Electro-Optical Targeting System (EOTS) program ensuring timely and compliant proposal submissions that meet government regulations and program commitments.
What You Will Be Doing
As the GSC Proposal and Affordability Lead you will be responsible for leading GSC proposal efforts, developing supplier RFP templates, coordinating cost analysis, commercial item determination and developing negotiation strategies. You will also drive affordability initiatives, managing the affordability pipeline, and creating step-down plans to meet program targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Organizing and overseeing GSC proposal activities, including timely submissions and compliance with regulations
• Developing supplier RFP templates and leading central procurement proposal kick-off meetings
• Coordinating cost analysis & commercial item determinations
* Developing negotiation strategies including historical price analysis and trend modeling
• Managing affordability pipeline, ensuring initiatives move through execution into savings realization
• Creating step-down plans to meet program affordability targets and negotiated positions.
• Collaborating with internal and external customers, including Sr. Management and customer representatives
• This role requires at least 2 days per week onsite in the Orlando, FL office

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), with experience applying these regulations in a procurement or acquisition environment
- Working knowledge of standard contract types, FAR proposal compliance and price / cost analysis
- Team oriented with demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, written & presentation communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of FAR compliant commercial item determinations
- Demonstrated contract negotiation experience
- Demonstrated affordability management experience
- Ability to work autonomously and represent GSC in program level meetings
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
