Description: This is an Engineering Internship position for an BS Engineering Program Candidate working in the Aerostructures Manufacturing Engineering group which includes Airframe and Aero Systems. Manufacturing Engineering (ME) responsibilities include tasks from the design phase to the manufacturing/test phase.
During the design phase the candidate’s work be exposed to generating work instructions and ordering tooling to execute fabrication or procurement of airframe details, assemblies and installations. At the Program level candidate will potentially work with the design engineers during basic and detail design phases to assure design is producible and can be fabricated to meet cost and schedule targets

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate should be working on in good standing and nearing completion of Bachelors degree preferably in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent

Basic Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skills.

Ability to work in team environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
