Description:

You will be leading and performing within the F-35 Degrader Action Cell (DAC) Team. This team is responsible for collaborating across engineering, logistics, and program teams to implement strategic actions that enhance fleet availability and reduce life cycle costs.

What You Will Be Doing

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Leading cross-functional projects focused on sustainment improvements and cost-reduction initiatives for the F-35 fleet.

- Investigating and analyzing performance degraders, supply chain posture, and maintenance practices to recommend actionable solutions.

- Supporting the development and optimization of maintenance plans, including updates to existing procedures and documentation.

- Driving project lifecycles end-to-end — from identification and triage, through solution development, implementation, and closure.

- Preparing and delivering high-level briefings to executive leadership, the Joint Program Office (JPO), and other key stakeholders.

- Clearly communicating technical analysis, project impacts, associated risks, and expected efficiencies.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven ability to drive positive organizational change that delivers business results aligned with Aero 100 objectives

- Holds demonstrated Project Management and/or Engineering Skills to lead and conduct analysis of complex sustainment/engineering/supply chain issues.

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to meet program or project schedule milestones.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Strong understanding of internal, external, and government customer needs

- Effective representation of Sustainment Engineering within broader Sustainment Operations and Line of Business integration groups

- Proven ability to organize, motivate, and unify diverse teams as one cohesive unit

- Demonstrated experience in managing cost, schedule, and/or budget (i.e. Earned Value Management Systems)

- Strategic thinker who translates vision into concrete actions and results

- Skilled at navigating matrix organizations for successful delivery

- Excellent verbal and written communication; adept at negotiating win win solutions with stakeholders

- Prior informal leadership experience (i.e. technical lead, project leadership, etc.)

- Proficient with work flow management tools (Jira, Confluence, Tableau).

- Experience with Root Cause, Corrective Actions (Six Sigma) or similar.

- Experience with analysis tools, data management, or comparative analysis.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
