Facilities Maintenance Mechanic at Lockheed Martin

Description:

Operation, functional check, maintenance, repair and
modification of gasoline, propane, diesel, hydraulic and pneumatic-powered vehicles and
equipment. Perform installation, repair, maintenance and operation of machine tools,
fabrication machines and other plant machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform
maintenance on metal doors, gates, fences, platforms, towers, rails, ladders and related
equipment.
Basic Qualifications:

modification of gasoline, propane, diesel, hydraulic and pneumatic-powered vehicles and
equipment. Perform installation, repair, maintenance and operation of machine tools,
fabrication machines and other plant machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform
maintenance on metal doors, gates, fences, platforms, towers, rails, ladders and related
equipment.
Must have ability to work at various heights of gantries, towers and poles; to work in
confined areas.
Must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:

Perform installation, repair, maintenance and operation of machine tools,
fabrication machines and other plant machinery and mechanical equipment.
Perform
maintenance on metal doors, gates, fences, platforms, towers, rails, ladders and related
equipment.
Draw correct conclusions from
limited technical data or instructions and make engineer-approved changes.
Complete knowledge of maintaining large and small motors, hoisting equipment, hydraulic
and pneumatic machinery. Possess a working knowledge of structural materials,
mechanical parts and assemblies. Set-up and operate various types of metal forming,
bending, blanking and cutting machines and equipment. Ability to use shop mathematics,
including trigonometry.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

The base range for this position in California is $27.63 - $50.79.
