THE WORK

Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventive and sustaining maintenance of all equipment and the Grapevine facility. The position includes, but is not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, equipment maintenance, general maintenance, housekeeping, and janitorial services.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment, including paint booths, whirl tower, autoclave, wash racks, dit-mco machines, blast booths, ovens, x-ray booth, janitorial, etc.

• Performs facility maintenance including walls repairs/paint, floors, plumbing repairs, light fixture repairs and bulb replacements, general carpentry, etc.

• Responds to all facility service requests including inoperable equipment, furniture movement, hanging pictures/posters/signs, etc.

• Documents all maintenance and repair activities

• Communicates the status of major repairs

Basic Qualifications:

1+ years of related experience and holds a High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work at heights of 40 feet.
Must be able to wear a respirator.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Must be able to operate forklifts and other facility equipment.

Desired Skills:

Electrical troubleshooting experience.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
