Your Mission is Ours:

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Cyber Sys Security Engineer. In this role, you will automate cyber engineering task, harden operating systems, and perform disaster recovery operations when required. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Linux “SLES, RHEL”, Windows OS and scripting languages in PowerShell, Python JavaScript etc.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:

  • DOD 8570 certs such as CompTIA Security+, SecurityX, or CySA+
  • Basic knowledge of either Linux “RHEL” or Windows Operating Systems
  • Basic knowledge of a scripting language in either Power

Shell or Python:

  • Basic knowledge of routing/switching protocols

  • Ability to provide after hours/on call support

  • Ability to move, rack, stack and install physical equipment by lifting up to 30 lbs.

  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
    Desired Skills:

  • Understanding and experience with Information Assurance (IA) hardening and compliance, i.e. STIG & DSS compliance, documentation, etc.

  • Experience working with NAS/SAN/PFS storage systems and related networking

  • Experience with routing/switching protocols and concepts

  • Scripting ability to support system administration (Ansible, Python, BASH, Perl, Batch, VBScript, or PowerShell)

  • Experience with SPLUNK, Mc Afee EPO, or v Sphere

  • Experience with Cloud Environment Azure / AWS

  • Experience with SQL or other databases.
    Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level:

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
