The Work

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading design professionals and contribute to groundbreaking projects. Be a part of the SQQ-89 program Systems Engineering Team. Work with our team to develop tools for our Navy customer as we deliver the latest capabilities for the fleets tactical systems. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.

  • As a key member of our Systems Engineer team, you will
  • Perform under general supervision to complete milestones associated with specific projects
  • Contribute to the creation of design solutions that address complex engineering problems across the full software cycle
  • Ensuring system issues are addressed
  • Develop system requirements and architectures to ensure customer needs and contracts are appropriately translated into the products development cycle
  • Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team that represents all capabilities within Dev Sec Ops.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical field and 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience developing or testing technical system requirements
  • Experience creating or revising technical system documentation
  • Must be able to utilize Microsoft Windows and Office products in support of day to day tasking
  • Qualified candidate must be eligible for a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with system analysis, requirements decomposition, and/or requirements management (DOORS)
  • Experience in program execution in agile environment
  • Experience with systems engineering of large, complex systems
  • Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE), CAMEO
  • Experience with Atlassian Products
  • Experience with AI/ML
  • Familiarity with Linux
  • OMG - UML2 2 Foundation Certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
