The candidate will join a team of embedded software developers who work as a team to create high quality flight software board support packages for new flight computers. The team works together daily on challenging problems where flight hardware meets software to develop software drivers and software infrastructure for hosting flight software applications. This position includes some telework flexibility but will also work in laboratories at our Huntsville facility.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have applicable experience in software development, with broad technical skills and development experience throughout a program life cycle.
• Must have experience in Object Oriented programming and C++
• Experience in multi-threaded embedded software development
• Possesses current Do

D Secret clearance:

• Experience writing or working with drivers

Desired Skills:

• Strong background developing in Linux
• Experience with the Vx Works operating system
• Experience writing requirements and verification tests

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
