THE JOB
Venue Nation is seeking a VIP Area Supervisor to drive a premium hospitality experience at Mystic Lake Amphitheater.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
-
Direct and supervise VIP Hosts and crew, working with VIP Manager to schedule and supervise show day performance.

Assisting guests and responding to guest inquiries and complaints.

On an ongoing basis leads and train staff to include assisting in staffing positions to ensure that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details.

Be able to identify and de-escalate guest situations that may arise throughout shifts, coordinating with venue security for additional support.

Coordinate team rest periods in accordance with state and local law and help to find coverage.

Assist management to ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures to include all safety regulations.

picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

Help greet guests, scan guest tickets upon entry to the venue, answer guest questions, assist guests with locating their seats and examine tickets for entry to VIP clubs and seating areas around the venue.

Providing assistance to all positions and communicating effectively with others to enhance guest experience.

Constant observation of lounge area, upholding the ambiance of the lounge or seating section

Exhibiting articulate vocabulary with the ability to adapt and socialize with audience

Presenting exemplary and professional appearance

Anticipating guests’ needs and providing superior service
-
May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.

Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.

Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

Assist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue.

Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.

Additional tasks as requested by management.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations, problem solving
-
Skill in diplomacy, handling multiple tasks, verbal skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
-
Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs and occasional sitting, lifting and carrying 25 lbs.+
-
Ability to diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact and diplomacy
-
Must have a flexible schedule

The expected compensation for this position is:
