JOB DESCRIPTION – Engineer 3
Location: Ticketmaster India
Division: Front Gate
Contract Terms: Full Time

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING-
- Develop cutting-edge web-based PHP applications
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API
- Contribute to the entire web application development lifecycle, right from the concept stage to deliver and post-launch support
- Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
- Convey all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, and schedules effectively, along with technical and process issues
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
- Keep updated & use best practices in web development
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)-
- Must have skill set – PHP, MySQL, API, AWS services
- Should have minimum experience of 4+ years in PHP, My Sql, REST API, webdevelopment
- Strong knowledge of Core PHP & Frameworks specially Laravel
- Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP
- Experience in API, REST API, Web Services, JSON & Data Structures, microservices
- Sound knowledge of My Sql and should be able to develop and structure databases
- Working knowledge of Node Js
- Working knowledge of Python or Spark
- Good knowledge of AWS services (SQS, SNS, S3, Dynamo DB)
- Working knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform & Load the data) tools like AWS Glue Jobs & Redshift.
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Good knowledge of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, JQuery
- Working knowledge of containerised development using Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Should be a team player
- Should be able to deliver assigned work and update status as required.
- Work as a synchronous team in a remote environment.
Good To Have:· Knowledge of docker & git pipelines, deployment of application in AWS cloud
environment will be preferred.
· Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap
· Knowledge of High touch and Facebook conversion API integration
