THE JOB

Live Nation’s in-house Experiential team (LNEx) uses their unrivaled expertise in translating brand business objectives into actionable fan experiences across Live Nation properties from festivals to custom events to global hospitality to venues. LNEx is a full-service solution in concepting, designing, building, and executing bespoke experiences that seamlessly integrate brands into the Live Nation ecosystem. The LNEx team is the get stuff done, turn-problems-into-solutions, make our clients look like the rock stars, driving force within the Live Nation Media & Sponsorship division. We are a collection of resourceful, ambitious, and strategic minded individuals that thrive in an environment full of variables and unknowns.

Live Nation Entertainment’s Media & Sponsorship Division is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and proactive Experiential Renderer & Build Specialist to join our award-winning Experiential (LNEx) team focused on Festival Activations. Reporting to the Vice President of Experiential, this role sits at the core of our creative development process—bringing branded environments and cultural activations to life through compelling renderings and experiential storytelling. The ideal candidate has a hybrid background in environmental and experiential design, a deep understanding of spatial visualization, and a passion for live music and culture. They should be equally fluent in creative concepting and technical execution—able to design with scale, materiality, and real-world build constraints in mind. This person will partner closely with producers to ensure feasibility while staying ahead of trends in fabrication, experiential technology, and consumer engagement. They will work across cross-functional teams to shape the visual direction of both client-facing pitch work, active production and managing existing renovations.

LNEx delivers innovative live music experiences that help our brand partners stand out—from festival activations to custom events, corporate hospitality, and touring programs. Producing hundreds of global B2B and B2C experiences each year, LNEx continues to redefine branded live engagement. Live Nation Media & Sponsorship designs, sells, and manages national corporate sponsorship programs with some of the world’s most recognizable brands. This fast-paced, collaborative team works across venues, festivals, ticketing, artists, content, media, promotions, and concert production to create best-in-class branded live experiences. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Develop 2D and 3D renderings that bring to life branded activations, festival builds, hospitality experiences, tour integrations, pop-ups, venues and custom live events

  • Translate creative briefs and strategic insights into visually impactful, narrative-driven designs and mood board/through starters that capture the tone, mood, and brand essence of an experience

  • Collaborate with creative directors, strategists, producers, and account leads to shape and refine concepts that balance innovation, feasibility, and brand alignment

  • Design full experiential decks including mood boards, floor plans, signage systems, environment mockups, and final renderings for client pitches and internal approvals

  • Serve as a visual problem solver, helping teams articulate spatial thinking and audience flow through detailed visualizations and diagrams

  • Demonstrated understanding of the full design-to-build lifecycle and ability to visualize materials, build techniques, and spatial feasibility.

  • Partner with production teams to ensure rendering output reflects accurate scale, materiality, and real-world build constraints

  • Stay informed on trends in spatial design, experiential tech, fabrication materials, and consumer engagement tactics

  • Contribute to the co-design of branded environments and activations, collaborating with art directors, fabricators, and producers to bring immersive experiences to life.

  • Collaborate with producers, strategists, and external vendors to ensure renderings align with both creative intent and real-world execution.

  • Organize and maintain a design archive, template system, and asset library that supports efficiency and consistency across LNEx design outputs

  • Awareness of onsite production requirements, safety protocols, and installation logistics to ensure designs are production-ready and aligned with real-world constraints.

  • Ability to design with budget, materiality, and scalability in mind — balancing creative ambition with production feasibility.

  • Co-designing activation floor plans and spatial journeys in collaboration with producers

  • Tracking design assets through versioning and project stages, akin to how Secret Sounds mentions managing production schedules and approvals

  • Willingness to jump into the creative development process early, especially during brainstorms and pitch phase

  • Project assignments may shift based on deal status or business needs; if a specific project is delayed or does not move forward, a comparable project may be assigned in its place.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • BA or BFA in Environmental Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field preferred

  • 4–6+ years of professional experience in experiential design, event architecture, production design, or branded environments

  • A strong portfolio showcasing environmental renderings, spatial storytelling, and branded experience design across live events or commercial activations

  • High proficiency in design software including Sketch Up, Rhino, V-Ray, Enscape, or Cinema 4D, plus Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design)

  • Ability to rapidly sketch and visualize ideas with clear communication of design intent

  • Understanding of environmental design principles including materials, signage systems, fabrication methods, and flow-through space

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment and manage multiple concurrent projects

  • Detail-oriented with strong time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in a high-volume, high-stakes creative environment with evolving scopes and tight deadlines.

  • Superior project and time management skills including managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Detail-oriented with analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ability to proactively identify potential problems and utilize sound decision making to implement the best solutions
