The Role:

Merchandise specialists provide an exceptional merchandise purchasing experience for all guests and fans at BNHP. Responsible for handling the Artist’s merchandise before, during, and after the show, items are inventoried, distributed, and displayed for fans to purchase. Orders are fulfilled accurately and quickly, with on-going courtesy to our guests. Remaining inventory is reassembled and returned to the Artist at the end of the show.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill the order of guests in a timely fashion, ensuring they receive the correct items and sizes as requested
  • Accurately ring-up guest purchases in Live Nation’s sales system
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Live Nation, its local sponsors, and the venue Participate in inventory count-in and count-out procedures
  • Create visually appealing displays and price items correctly
  • Complete sales transactions for each guest
  • Support successful sales operations at each event
  • Contribute to a positive work environment
  • Perform physical duties as required by the role, such as moving equipment or transferring merchandise between locations
  • Take direction from their supervisor, the venue’s Merchandise Manager

Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented, supporting accuracy and completeness in order fulfillment
  • Quick thinking and able to respond to guest requests
  • Guest oriented, focusing on their requests
  • Team-driven, working as part of a larger unit
  • The ability to interact with guests politely
  • Self-starters that do not require significant supervision
  • Must have basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Must be able to available for the entire concert day, with shifts as long as 15 hours (with breaks)
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to a 50 pound box
  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments in potential extreme temperatures
  • Must have a working understanding of touch-screen based systems
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
