You will have the opportunity to be part of a very special team for Live Nation’s newest Canadian venue, HISTORY Ottawa. A state-of-the-art venue with a capacity of up to 2000 hosting over 180 concerts and private events annually. Responsibilities:

Ability to examine tickets and direct guests in a friendly and engaging manner

Aid patrons who have disabilities or other accommodation requests in finding an appropriate seat or section for them to enjoy the show comfortably.

Greet arriving guests and answer any questions they have regarding showtimes, events or parking

Ability to lead and direct guests in a personable and inclusive manner to various areas of History such as; bars, washrooms, merchandise activations etc.

Capability to read and assess situations from afar and be able to intercept and help guests if needed

Communicate with any internal stakeholders on any need to know information regarding guests

Monitor assigned areas and guest conduct to ensure safety and service is always a top priority.

Follow all emergency procedures regarding venue evacuation and know the location of all exits throughout the building.

Flexibility to perform other job related duties as required
Qualifications:

Experience in a hospitality environment an asset, but not a must

You desire the need to make every guest experience as memorable and special as possible

Humble, kind-spirited and reliable with a passionate and confident attitude

You have strong attention to detail and customer service skills

You have the ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure

You possess a strong work ethic with a high sense of responsibility in an ever changing environment

You have the ability to work independently and within a team to juggle multiple prioritized tasks

Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required

The expected compensation for this position in Ontario is: $17.85 per hour.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
